Geneva's Old Town (Vieille Ville) sits on a hill above the lake, with narrow, largely pedestrianised cobblestone streets. There is very little parking inside the Old Town itself, and what exists is blue zone street parking limited to 1-2 hours with a disc.
The nearest underground garages are Parking Mont-Blanc (CHF 3.00/hour, on the lake side) and Parking de la Confédération (CHF 3.50/hour), both a short walk from the main Old Town sights (Saint Pierre Cathedral, Place du Bourg-de-Four). Neither is inside the Old Town, so expect to walk the last stretch on foot.
