Parking Carouge Geneva | Guide to Car Parks

Carouge, just south of the Arve river, is known for its antique shops, independent boutiques, and weekend flea market around Place du Marché. Street parking in the old grid of Carouge is mostly metered or blue zone, and spaces near the market area are scarce on Saturdays.

The best option for a full day in Carouge is P+R Etoile on Avenue de la Praille: 740 spaces, CHF 3/day, with EV charging and a tram connection straight into Carouge and the city centre.

If you need to park closer to the centre of Carouge itself, blue zone discs give 1-2 hours free - enough for a walk around the market or a coffee, but not a full afternoon of browsing.

For longer stays, Parking Plainpalais (CHF 2.00/hour, 340 spaces) in the neighbouring Plainpalais district is also a short tram ride from Carouge.
