Every underground garage and P+R lot covered in this guide (Parking des Cropettes, Parking Mont-Blanc, Parking Cornavin, Parking de la Confédération, Parking Plainpalais, P+R Bernex, P+R Bachet-de-Pesay, and P+R Etoile) includes dedicated accessible bays.
A valid European Blue Badge (or the Swiss equivalent, carte de stationnement pour personnes handicapées) is recognised in Geneva and allows parking in marked disabled bays both in garages and on the street. In the blue zone, badge holders generally get extended time allowances beyond the standard 1-2 hour disc limit - display both the badge and the disc on your dashboard.
Accessible bays inside underground garages are usually positioned close to the lift and payment terminal. If every accessible bay at a garage is taken, use the intercom at the entry barrier - most Geneva garage operators can redirect you to the nearest available space.
On-street accessible bays near the city centre and Old Town are more limited than in outer neighbourhoods, since overall street parking is scarcer there. Arriving earlier in the day improves your chances.
